Abstract [sv]
Eleiko is developing a new design for waste sorting station at the request of a company in Milano. The unit consists of a revolving compactor where waste can be sorted into four loads; paper, glass, compost and other. The customer will be charged for each individual load according to the weight of the waste. The nature of the waste can be verified at weighing stage to decrease the risk of incorrect sorting. The purpose of SopSort is to find a solution to the problem of verifying the waste. To separate the other from compost is the differences in density used. The chute for glass and paper vill be fiven a circulat and rectangular respectively to prevemt incorrect sorting. As metals are not wanted in any of the loads the identification will be completed with a metal detector.
