Vi har i vårt examensprojekt arbetet med en utrustning för automatisk kvalitetskontroll. Vår lösning bygger på bildbehandling. För själva avsyningen används en CCD kamera med för ändamålet anpassad optik. I datorn istalleras ett digitaliseringskort, eller framegrabberkort, till vilket kameran kopplas. Datorn utrustas även med mjukvara som haterar framegrabberkortet smat utför kontroll av den avsynade föremålet. Eftersom det system vi har konstruerat skall användas i helauromatisk produktion kan programmet även kommunicera med externa enheter via datorns com-portar.
