Abstract [en]

This thesis present a projekt named TIDE (Time-deterministic Incremental Development Enviroment), aiming at the design of time- deterministic distributed computer systems. It describes a graphical programming notation, for hard, distributed real time systems. The TIDE system consists of a developing environment and a target system,which is time deterministic. The target system consists of a synchronized, distributed, deterministic hardwere system. (Fager.P 1994) The synchronization enables the nodes to have a common time base. The common time base gives the development system a simple but powerful process synchronization. The development tool enables the target system to be programmed graphical, deterministic and incremental.
