Abstract [sv]

Abstract [en]

Will the performance on one task be deteriorated when another task is added, and does it make a difference if a task is presented visually or audibly?23 participants took part in an experiment where a primary task (computer task)and a secondary task (memory test) were conducted separately andsimultaneously. The result showed no difference in performance on a primarytask alone or together with a secondary task, neither in reaction time nor reactionfaults. On the other hand, the performance is better on a secondary task alone (tomemorize correctly) than together with a primary task, when both tasks arepresented visually. The discussion takes up that the participants gave priority toone of the tasks despite it was elucidated that all task were of same importance.2 Paper
