Abstract [en]

With today's development of electric vehicles, new technologies are constantly beingdeveloped that will simplify and improve the use of electric vehicles. The weakest point ofelectric vehicles compared to ordinary fossil vehicles is mainly the relationship betweencharging time and range, but this is something that the company Elonroad plans to change.Elonroad works with developing electric roads. Electric roads are a dynamic chargingtechnology which means that vehicles can be charged while driving. The electric roadtechnology also focuses on durability by making vehicles less dependent on large batteries.Elonroad's vision is to electrify the entire transport sector and use clean energy from sourcessuch as solar energy, wind turbines and hydropower to create a climate-neutral transportindustry.

The project group has been commissioned by the company Elonroad to develop an automaticparking charger. Behind the development are several surveys in the form of questionnaires, market analyses, models and interviews that the project group carried out to arrive at theresults. The product includes a well-functioning prototype and an overall business modeladapted to all of Elonroad´s charging solutions.
