Abstract
The thesis is about a job where the bartender chases seconds to respond to the customers demand. It’s a conservative industry where it is important to create a product that does not lead to major changes for the user.The aim of the project has been to develop a product which facilitates a bartender's work, both efficiency but also for reducing stress.
With the help of different methods, dynamic product development and concept development, a new type of pourer has been developed. The pourer has been created with clear requirements to produce a user-friendly product.With the help of local bars, designers and prototype manufacturers DoubleUP was created.
The thesis resulted in a double pourer, hence the name DoubleUP. The product is reminiscent of today's existing pourer consisting of one pipe, with the difference that several customers can now be served at the same time.
