Reconstruction of the Automated Seatbelt
2019 (English)Independent thesis Basic level (university diploma), 180 HE creditsStudent thesis
Abstract [en]

This project tests and validates an automated seatbelt concept created by the authors in a previous course. The testing is made through the use of physical prototypes and from the results a final prototype was made and assembled in a car. The project exhibits the process from design to final prototype, documenting different design iterations and the definitive design. The project evaluates previous designs and their drawbacks, as well as locating the areas with low seatbelt usage. Within the report there is documentation of utilised components, built prototypes and original design.
