Abstract [sv]
To experience and take part of physical activity is individual. People are different and aprehend things in different ways, therefore it is important to work with physical activity from each individual needs. The studey concerns physical activity and its importance for teenagers and what possible healthprofits it eventually will give in a longer perspective. The purpose was to map the importance of physical activity among teenagers in a perspective of public health. To achieve the purpose four questions were made. The method used was a literature study and scientific articles were examined using a matrix for analyses. The result showed that physical activity prevent public health diseases and promote the learning ability. It also appeared that the subject of sport and health in school is not a priority which can affect the adolescents future attitude towards physical activity. Furthermore it appeared that substantial healthprofits can be achieved in a biological statistic perspective. Conclusions drawn from the result that public health diseases like obesity, osteoporosis, high blood pressure can lbe prevented by physical activity. The schoolsubject sport and health therefore need to get a stronger legitimacy in order to give adolscents the right attitude towards movement and in that way create to natural and spontaneous attitude towards movement and in that way create a natural and spontaneous attitude towards physical activity.
