Abstract [en]
An essay concerning women and men´s behaviour towards each other in four chosen plays by Shakespeare. The works are: King Lear, Othello, Much ado about nothing and The taming of the shrew. The3 characters are compared to eachother, the tragic with the comic, leading female roles with supporting female roles and men and women. Much concerns how the women are treated and how they treat others and generally how women lived in the 16th century.
