Abstract [sv]

Varberg Precision AB works sithin the precision manufacturing area. The company has a wide profile and works with products of various characteristics and materials. Investigations show that Varbergs Precision AB has a mcompetent personel and an ambitious leadership. In the present, the time to prepare the miachines take 60-80% of the productiontime. An increased profit and marketingshare can be aschived by shortening the time to prepare the machines and a modernisation of the production units. A renewal of the computersystem, hardware as well as software , is required in order to shorten the time to prepare the machines. Making free potential production capacity, is a necessity for the company if it’s going to be avle to increase its clientele. When it has been renewd, the company can try to specialize in a bransch, e.e. the medicin bransch.
