Abstract [sv]
The main purpose of the project was to create a sensor network based on the new radio technology called IEEE 802.15.4. This included both hardware construction in the form of developing a hardware prototype and developing software for the prototype. The constructed hardware should then be sent away for manufacturing. The sensors that where used was a temperature sensor and an accelerometer for measuring the slope. Regarding the result of the project the sensor network is working properly with all of the modules. The transfer of sensor data from the RFD devices to the central FFD node and PC are working as planned. When it comes to the aspect of the range of the radio it's about 5 meters at the moment. This lack in range is probably an effect of that some component values are wrong in the BALUN circuit. This causes the power of the radio signal to be damped.
