Abstract [sv]
”Professional Coaching” is a generally accepted term for a person who works with coaching of businessmen or private persons. The term was founded in US in the middle of the 80´s. “Professional Coaching” is today familiar to the rest of the world, including Sweden. This essay focuses on the introduction of the profession into Sweden. A questionnaire was sent out to all members of the Nordic Coach Federation. The results received became the substance in the authors mapping of the term “professional coaching, from a Swedish point of view. With the product of the survey the authors aims to construct guidelines fore the profession, out of marketing, entrepreneur and culture perspectives. Finally an attempt is made trying to evaluate the possibilities for the business in the future from an industrial economic view.
